CFA Mock Exam Challenge

Students are given opportunity to win bursaries
University and college business students from the Thompson/Okanagan regions are being given the opportunity to compete for prize money in MEC, Mock Exam Challenge. The CFA Okanagan is holding its first CFA Mock Exam Challenge to give students considering a career in the investment field as CFA charter holders the opportunity to compete, have fun and earn some cash prizes.
To be eligible for MEC, a student must be enrolled in a business program at a college or university in the Thompson/Okanagan region, or enrolled in the CFA level I exam. In the competition, they will answer 120 multiple choice questions at the UBCO campus location on Thursday May 7, 2009 from 1pm to 4pm. All participants will be given the opportunity to inquire more about careers for the CFA charter holders. Students must register for the exam prior to writing by contacting the CFA Okanagan society via email: cfao@shaw.ca
The top three scores will win $1000 each towards their tuition and education fees, and all participants that score 70% or better in the exam will be given a 1 year complimentary membership to the CFA Okanagan society.
