Rallying -The TSX is up at this point on stronger commodity prices. The US dollar is also higher.
Reversing -US & International Stocks fell this morning after four weeks of gains for Wall Street. More worries about euro zone debt offset optimism about market values after a flurry of M&A activity. Incidently, if it can hold it's gains, the Dow is on track for it's best month in over a year and it's best September since 1939.
Trading Opportunity - This week I am going to feature some sector plays coming up in October. Generally speaking October gets a bad rap in Investors minds. Historically the crash in 1929 occurred in October and the crash that occured in 1987 happened in October. In terms of actual performance it falls in the middle of the pack of all months, however it is the most volatile month of the year. You may want to consider some strategies to reduce your volatility.
